Diagnostics Unit

We have a dedicated radiography suite with a powerful generator and industry standard AGFA digital x-ray processor. This allows us to view images almost immediately and lets us discuss the images while you are with your horse. These images can then, if necessary, be e-mailed to any veterinary experts or insurers through out the world.

Our Olympus video-endoscope system allows us to image conditions affecting the upper airways. As this is a video-endoscope you are able to observe simultaneously with us and therefore we can explain much more clearly what we see.

The ultrasonography area has state of the art ultrasound machines capable of imaging tendons, thoracic and abdominal organs. We also have a dedicated mare scanner for pregnancy diagnosis and genital tract examinations

A large central floor space enables us to examine and treat horses under cover in clean and safe conditions. Stocks are available next to this space if necessary and a separate large enclosed examination area can also be used if needed.

If your horse requires an overnight stay we have stabling within the unit.
